New Creative Director

Richard Warburton joins IOU as Creative Director in October 2023

We are pleased to announce that Richard Warburton will be joining IOU in October 2023 as Creative Director, from his current role Artistic Director at Bradford’s Theatre in the Mill.

The new role will lead on delivering IOU’s emerging Creation Centre for interdisciplinary art, engineering and technology alongside Joanne Wain, CEO & Executive Director.

After 47 years, David Wheeler ( joint CEO & Artistic Director), will be leaving IOU and Joanne Wain ( joint CEO & Executive Director) will be taking over as CEO working with Richard to develop IOU’s Creation Centre.
